Worship is a core part of life at St Andrew’s West, and we regularly come together as a congregation to celebrate, thank, and grow together...

Sunday Worship
Our worship in this beautiful gothic revival church is a blend of traditional styles, but sometimes we add a twist of something new. Services start at 11am and last about an hour. With involvement of a variety of musicians, and a small choir no two Sundays are the same. There is often a significant level of participation for everyone. The preaching programme is generally structured around the Revised Common Lectionary readings, with diversions into other themes or areas of the Bible. There is a small crèche. We have tea, coffee and juice following the service – an opportunity to meet, welcome, and catch up.
Communion
We welcome to the Lord’s Table all who love Jesus Christ and come seeking his grace and help.
We celebrate Holy Communion monthly on the third Sunday of each month. In February, April, June, August, October and December the Sacrament of Communion is part of our morning worship. We serve non-alcoholic wine and gluten-free bread.
In January, March, May, July, September and November Holy Communion is celebrated as part of a more informal, separate, service at 12.15pm in the chancel of the sanctuary.
